One way to bring events into your website is by using an RSS feed. This method is compatible with any RSS reader of your choice, making it a versatile option for managing event data.
Accessing the RSS Feed Option
You can find the RSS feed option:
- When creating a new plug-in: During the setup process, look for the RSS feed configuration section.
- When editing an existing plug-in: Navigate to your plug-in manager and select the plug-in you wish to modify. Locate the RSS feed option to make the necessary adjustments. Be sure to hit Save to save your new RSS option for this plug-in.
Setting a Data Limit for Your RSS Export
When setting up your RSS feed, you will need to define a data limit. This determines how many events are included in the feed at one time. The available options are:
- No Limit: Includes all available events.
- Events for the Next 30 Days: Limits the feed to events occurring within the next month.
- Events for the Next 60 Days: Limits the feed to events occurring within the next two months.
- Events for the Next 180 Days: Limits the feed to events occurring within the next six months.
By setting a data limit, you can ensure the feed aligns with your website's needs and keeps your content up-to-date.
