Before you can begin selling advertisements on your Yodel calendar, you first need to activate the ad zones. There are 3 available ad zones to activate - In-Calendar Banner Ads, In-Calendar Event Card Ads, and Event Details Page Ads. To achieve maximum revenue opportunity, it is strongly recommended to activate all 3 zones!

Step-By-Step Guide to Activating Ad Zones in your Yodel Revenue Engine:
First, visit the Revenue Engine page & select activate ad zone.
From here, you'll be required to fill out the following options.
- Ad Location - Options include Banner Ad (shown above the calendar), Event Ad (shown amongst the event cards), or Event Details Page Ad (shown when an event is opened).
- Plug-In - If you have multiple calendar plug-ins, this allows you to choose which one you'd like to activate this ad zone for.
- Price Per Day
- Minimum Number of Days an ad can run for
- Upload a Placeholder Image - having placeholders on each ad zone will help communicate to local businesses that there is ad space available and what their ad might look like!
Hit SAVE.
Then, you'll be able to see all active ad zones under the Ad Zones section. You can pause or edit ad zones at any time from here.
