❓ I only want to show my members’ events. How do I do that?
Use an organization-based query. This pulls in events from specific organizations (like Chamber members). In your Event Rules, create a group, add a rule for each organization, and set the AND/OR toggle to OR.
❓ My calendar should show all events happening in my community, not just members. What do I use?
Go with a location-based query. You can either:
- Add rules for multiple zip codes, or
- Set up an address + radius rule to capture everything within a certain distance.
❓ Can I mix and match organization and location rules?
Yes! That’s the benefit of creating groups. You can always add more groups later if you want to filter by category, tags, or specific organizations.
❓ How do I know my rules are working?
Use the Event Preview option in the plug-in manager. It lets you see exactly which events your rules are pulling in before you go live.
